Jason & I are up at the lake this weekend & we are pleased to report that the pier is in! It was a nice surprise yesterday evening when we got here. Too bad we didn't bring the boat!
We had beautiful weather today. Jason's truck was reading 80 degrees!!! I don't think it was quite that warm, but it was a gorgeous day! I even thought about throwing on my swimsuit and laying out for a couple hours.
Since I am going on vacation next week, I needed to come up to the lakes to get my summer clothes, swimsuits, sunscreen, tanning oil... you know... all the things you need for vacation. Last March Jason & I went to Florida and I forgot that everything was up here. It really worked out rather well for me, because I went shopping the day before we flew out and bought a whole new summer wardrobe. However, Jason nicely reminded me this time that we should drive up to get the things I need for Florida before I leave on Friday.
We were planning on coming home tonight, but it is just too nice and relaxing up here so we're staying one more night.
