Well... now it's back to the "daily grind"! This week went surprisingly well after being gone for about 10 days. I had all 250 emails answered by 6pm on Monday! However... now there is something else major pressing... I am presenting at my first national nursing conference in less than two weeks. The pressure is on to finalize my presentations and power points. Did you catch that I said... presentations? That would be two! Oh yeah... and I forgot to mention that each presentation is 90 minutes!!! What was I thinking? You would think for my first national presentation that I would start slow... with maybe just one??? Nope... not me... not happenin'. I present on Evidenced Based Practice on Wednesday, May 20th & then on Family Presence During Hospitalization on Thurs., May 21st. It should be a fun trip nonetheless, as we are going to New Orleans. The last time I was there was pre-Katrina. So, who knows what it looks like now!?! Regardless... it's such a neat city! Bourbon Street & the French Quarter are always a good time! Wish me luck...
