Family Fun

WHEW!!! I am still recovering from a fun-filled family weekend!

This past weekend we had a blast spending time with our nieces and nephew (of course we enjoyed our siblings as well)! WOW... we played hard. Saturday started with all the father's playing golf, while the ladies stayed at home with the kids. We went to the pool in the morning & then when the guys got home, we all went out on the lake for an afternoon at the swimming hole. Saturday evening, we watched the ski show from the pontoon. We ate quickly and finished off the night at the Mermaid Festival's carnival (an annual event in North Webster). The kids had a blast. I have to admit... I did, too! I definitely rode the scrambler and wanted to ride more (I should've paid for the unlimited pass)!

Sunday, we spent time at the pool, had a wonderful father's day cookout, and then finished the afternoon with a swim in the lake. I wakeboarded for this first time this season & it wasn't pretty. It was really choppy & I performed a beautiful face plant! (I am still paying for it today! I cannot move my head from side-to-side without moving my entire body!)

We really enjoyed the time with our families. We are truly blessed!

We cannot wait for the next family weekend! :)
