So, I know I have been rather absent from the Blogging world lately. A few months ago I would've told you that I didn't think my life could get much busier - I was wrong! Yes, Jason... mark this down: for once, I was wrong. :)
I have some catching up to do for the month of October: 4 birthdays, 1 new baby (in addition to Miss Lily Kate), 2 anniversaries, and 1 engagement -WHEW... October was a busy month!
Let's start with a birthday. October 8th, our niece, Lilly, turned eight. I still cannot believe she is eight years old. The years really do fly! Lilly is such a sweet little girl and a great big sister to Miss Gracie! Lilly loves to shop, get her fingernails and toenails painted, and she loves her "spa days/nights" at Na-Na's where she enjoys a whirlpool bath and a little pampering from her Na-Na. For her birthday this year, Lilly really wanted a locket necklace. She told my sister that she wanted the locket so she could carry a picture of her Papa with her at all times. Okay, seriously... the girl was getting a locket necklace if I had to go to Tiffany's!!! Jason and I were very happy to be able to surprise Lilly with a locket for her birthday. We are still working on the picture of Papa, but we hope to finish the gift really soon. Lilly, we hope you had a great birthday! We love you so much and we are very proud of you!
Enjoy a few pictures from Lilly's birthday dinner. She chose to eat at Do-Mo's, a Japanese restaurant in Muncie. She ordered chicken fingers - I love it!
