Tonight, my high school (Yorktown High School) is playing in the State Finals! I cannot wait to go watch! If you follow volleyball much at all, you know that Delaware County is a powerhouse for volleyball not only in the state of Indiana, but in the entire nation! It is not uncommon for our local volleyball club, Munciana, to bring home multiple national titles each summer.
Ironically, a former YHS volleyball star is coaching the team tonight - Stephanie Bloom (Keller). I had the privilege of playing with Stephanie my senior year at YHS. Steph, I think I speak for many former players when I say... you make us very proud!
Go, Tigers! Bring home the State Title!
