Halloween Fun

We hope you all had a great Halloween! Last night, Jason & I attended the Kidd Family's Annual Halloween Bash. We had a blast! Walking into the party, we were amazed that people did not recognize Jason. You would think his size alone would give his costume away, but not last night. Jason was Hillary Clinton & I went along as his, well her "handy man". Even I went unrecognizable for quite some time. Even those with whom I work daily, did not recognize me for a good five minutes.

We had a couple favorite "quotes of the night":

1) Standing in line awaiting our turn for the haunted trail, I had forgotten how "manly" I looked. I was going about the evening carrying on normal female conversation - you know... giggling and all. Then, all of a sudden a teenage boy stopped me in dead sentence and said, "OMG... I really thought you were a dude!"

2) As we were leaving, another kid (probably 12 or 13) came up to Jason and said... "Hey man... can I touch you for just a second? I just need to make 2 bucks!" WOW... they start early. I intervened and did not let the child fondle my husband. However, Jason was disappointed that he was only worth $2!

A special thank you to Brian and Michelle Kidd for hosting such a fun evening. The food was great, we enjoyed the company, and of course... we loved the haunted trail! Jason is definitely in for next year's trail! :)
